Like the heading states, fuck you cancer. I take this fight personal because it has affected my family from the get go. I battled cancer back in 2004, my auntys and uncles, cousins and now its getting real close to home, my mother is battling stage 4 small cell cancer. It is an aggressive cancer which has spread to her brain, bones, neck and airways. Its been a battle since April 2012 but we take it day by day fight by fight. My mom is a fighter so she will continue to swing and swing.
Monday May 14, 2012 was my moms birthday which was also her first day of chemotherapy treatment. She has 6 cycles, this week is her first week. I truely understand what she is going through because I battled the war is in now.
I am also blessed to be alive, day in and day out I give my thanks for another day of life. It is the experiences that will make me stronger and wiser about lifes purposes.
It is through my personal battle with cancer I will stand by my mom and help her get through her battle. Its not going to be easy so I know what to do to help my mom stay strong and remain strong.

Thankful for all his Glory and Grace

Today I am giving thanks for all his glory and all his grace. I do this daily but today I am giving thanks again.

On April 1, 2012 my mother was rushed to Pali Momi ER for head pain and breathing problems. She normally goes to Tripler but this time she went to Pali Momi. Thank goodness cause Pali Momi found the cause of my moms illness. Unfortunately its cancer but with the blessings from Heavenly Father and Lord and Savior Jesus Christ my mother is still alive going to radiation treatments. Its been a very trying month, but i know in my heart that Heavenly Father will not give us anything that we cannot handle. Also remembering that our life is on his time. So if Heavenly Father calls us to come home, we shall go. I must say I am blessed thou, back in 2004 I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and was given a 50/50 chance. But day in and day out I am very thankfu. I am not perfect but I am learning what life is all about........thank you heavenly father for all your glory and all your grace. ...........

April 17, 2012 we celebrated my sisters birthday. It was a very special day because my mom who is battling small cell lung cancer made out to celebrate with us. That was a blessing of its own.

Heavy Hearted

Had a very eventful day today at my moms place in Ewa Beach. She has been sick for the past couple months and as of late it has been getting worse. Because my father was in the military she has been going to Tripler all her life and as of late she has been going there only to be getting worse. Now my brother has set her up with his doctor in Waipahu. Her appointment is set for Wednesday April 4, 2012. I pray that she gets better soon. We have had our differences but as of late I have been coming around and accepting the fact that all my mom is doing is being a mom. I have always given her a bad time and until this day I will start to be a very loving son. Even thou I was never raised by her, I will do what I know Heavenly Father would want me to do and that is to Love and Honor thy parents. And I am trying my best to do just that. Before I left my moms house today we had a heart felt talk. She told me that she is not ready to die yet, she wants to see me get married, she wants to see my older brother purchase his own house, she wants to see her 2 great grandkids grow up. My mother is not afraid to die but theres so much that she wants to do before it is her time to go. My mom lives her life to its fullest day in and day out and there is not a day that goes by that she tries her best to do what she can, while she can , when she can. I have learned alot from her and I am glad to call her my mother. There were days where I hated her and thats just my honest opinion. But Imma step back and just enjoy her presence each moment I have.

Never walk in anyone shadows let them walk in yours

Be your own leader never a follower. Again, I am very blessed to be alive and to be given the opportunity to wake up and enjoy this day that Heavenly Father has given to me or I should say to all of us. Each day every one of us will face challenges, some harder than others, but its all in the frame of mind on how we accept those challenges. If you sit and let it get the best of you than you will be beaten. If you stand and deliver and conquer than the challenge will be much more easier to overcome. Recently one of the most talented and gifted human beings passed away Ms. Whitney Houston. All her music has a positive message and also inspiring to many including myself. Her most recent song I look to you is just a testimony of the power of GOD and our savior Jesus Christ.
With that being said I am thankful for being blessed to be live and 6 years from cancer. But theres not a day that goes by that I always give my thanks and praises for the the blessings from above......

Just Because

Last week I sent a dozen roses to a dear friend of mines as I found out she was going thru a divorce after she gave her husband a chance and yet he screwed up. She then she sent me a message stating that she never felt that special in a long long time. To me I was saddened because she is a such a very beautiful person both inside and on the out. I would do anything in my power to keep her in my reach and I would never ever let her go if I was this man. But unfortunately for him all this has come to pass.
As she is recovering I hope that she will find happiness soon. Now it will be harder for other men to try and win her heart because of the damage that has been done, which I dont blame her. I would have a wall up too. All I can say is unreal.
On a good note, she agreed to go out to dinner with me next friday and I will most definetly fine dine her like how she should be dined you know. I am sure happiness will be in her forecast in the near future.
Today, well lets just say was a very emotional morning at my brothers house. My nephew and his girl friend and his dad got into a huge ass arguement. My nephew broked the dining table, chairs and wanted to go one on one with his father. Unbelievable. I guess after prayers things are calming down and hopefully things will get better from here one.
Also, I got a tatt from my cousin Chad, he did a dragon koi which is a sick ass ink job. I love it.
